January 2, 2009.

We were in the midtown area today.  We went to check out Carnegie Deli for their famous pastrami sandwich.  There is a line to get into the deli - I've never heard of that before.  It better be worth the wait, I thought to myself while we waited outside.  Luckily, we were the next ones to be seated and it wasn't as cold as it has been.

Afterwards, we went to check out MoMA.  It's free admission after 4pm every Fridays.  We got to the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue and there was a line that extended around the corner on 6th Avenue.  I guess this was the holiday crowd. We were going to pass on going to MoMA and then these two guys who had just left gave us their tickets; no line for us. It was super crowded inside even though they were managing the flow of letting people in.

The images below were from the industrial design gallery of the museum.  I thought these were cute for fence toppers.  And check out the heart chain and bear lock.
