April 29, 2009.

I took these pictures through a fenced enclosure that had openings that allowed you to see what was happening on the other side.  This is along Lafayette Street between Bond and Great Jones.

April 21, 2009.

A nice day though not as warm due to the rain that we had yesterday.  But with the rain, it quenched the flowers and plants.

April 19, 2009.

Today was a nice sunny day in NYC although not as warm as yesterday.  It was a day of bright pretty colors and captured it as I walked around the city.

April 12, 2009.

Despite the sunny skies, it was cold! As usual, never a dull moment at Union Square. Apparently there was a fire at the Union Square subway station.  There were three firetrucks parked along 14th Street in front of the south end of the park.  At the same time, there was a street performance of some kind that people were gathering around to view.

Sorry for not posting pictures lately.  I was on vacation to the Caribbean; Trinidad and Tobago to be exact and had a wonderful time.  It took me some time to organize my pictures too but here are a couple of shots.  If you want to see more pics and if you want to read about my trip, click here.
