Well, the votes are in and today I started to take pictures of anything my eyes caught that were green and/or purple. Last month was animals. I think this is a fun exercise. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Today was about trucks. I saw a fire engine truck parked out the Whole Foods on Houston. The company is stationed in Chinatown. I thought it was pretty cool because it incorporated the neighborhood on the truck.
And on the way back to the office I saw this truck and I just couldn't resist taking a picture of it.
I wanted to continue to share with you some of the amazing, bizarre, colorful, funny, gross, horrific, lame, new, old, popular, queer, rich, soulful, unbelievable, wild, and zany things I encounter in New York City and elsewhere (should I be traveling).
I originally created "A day in 2008." because I love taking pictures and I love sharing my pictures with friends. Before "A day in 2008." I only took pictures of my travels, events, and festivities and shared my adventures with my closest friends. I got some positive feedback from them which encouraged me to continue sharing.
I also like looking at other people's pictures on the internet. I've seen some beautiful pictures from many sites. Each picture was telling a story, or capturing a moment, or documenting the photographers life.
I liked all those aspects of photography and what it meant to share them with anyone who was interested enough to land on their site.
So why not me too?
