February 5, 2009.

It was a cold day.  Colder than yesterday but that did not keep the birds from hanging out in the sunny cold day.  I was walking by the public gardens on LaGuardia Place.  The birds were out and chirping away.  The doves were also out but they were quiet.  Both the doves and sparrows were puffed out to keep warm.  The sparrows looked very adorable.  They reminded me of dwarf hamsters.  I got some great close up shots of these birds.  I hope you enjoy them.

P.S. I placed a slideshow because there were way too many pictures for me to load individually onto the blog.  Blogger needs to do something about that.  There has got to be an easier way to upload pictures that don't always end up at the top.

A cold day in February after the snow fall but despite the cold, I was able to take some interesting pictures.  First up is this pretty nice looking motorcycle.

I really like how this garage looks.  Has a nice vintage look about it.

I was walking back to the office along Great Jones Street when I noticed these birds in the storefront of a business called Partners & Spade.

February 3, 2009.

Another day of snow in the city with accumilation.  By the evening, we got about an inch or so of snow but not much more than that.  I love it when it snows.

I was walking past Washington Square Park.  They're still doing renovations but I was able to take a couple of these evening pictures of the park with virgin snow.

February 1, 2009.

Today was the parade celebrating the Year of the Ox in Chinatown. It was crowded and busy with people getting around.
